Final 3 Designs

For my final asessment, I have 3 designs ready and I need to choose one. Excuse my terrible drawing.

Design 1

I actually came up with this design because my housemate was wearing this beautiful necklace and it reminded me of this portait I had seen.

I notice in this that the hair is not typically heart shaped, however there is still a beehive type style that has been padded out and it still has the frizzy and crimped texture.
I then though of this slicked back style that I have seen quite often on celebrities such as Beyonce and Kim Kardashian.

I really like the idea of trying to merge these two ideas together and creating a crimped, frizzy kind of mohican. These are along the lines of what I had in mind.


Design 2

I wanted to try a bridal like twist to this one. It still has the braids in a crown like position with a crimped and backcombed bouffant type top. The ends of the hair would be curled. I feel like this design is a bit simple but could be decorated with some pearls or diamonte like jewels on the braid. I also had to think how this design would work with my hair not being symmetrical and how that would look as a final piece.

Design 3

With this design I wanted to try and keep a heart shape. As I dont have symmetrical hair its really hard to do that! While researching on contemporary Elizabethan styles, I came across Beyonce (again, I know) and noticed that the hairsyle she had for her Mrs Carter Show advertisment. She does not have a symmetrical style but it does still have the heart shaped element. You can see it fully in the video below.

I decided I could try something similar to this and use my obscure hairstyle to my advantage!
